Relativity Networks was founded on the belief that the next great advance in networking would come not from optimizing another layer of the stack, but from rethinking its deepest layer: the transmission medium.

Our founders recognized that power—not compute—would become AI’s limiting resource, forcing AI factories to span distance. Preserving synchronization across that distance required changing the transmission medium.

In the AI Geography Era, networking no longer simply connects compute. It defines the geography within which distributed AI can still behave as one synchronized machine.

Big Swings Change the World

With more than 50 years of combined experience in optical innovation, co-founders Dr. Jason Eichenholz and Dr. Rodrigo Amezcua Correa founded Relativity Networks to transform a laboratory breakthrough into the networking architecture of the AI Geography Era.

Rodrigo pioneered independent anti-resonant hollow-core fiber designs at CREOL, the College of Optics and Photonics at the University of Central Florida. Jason leads the commercialization of those breakthroughs into carrier-grade networking infrastructure.

Together they are building ChronoCore™—the networking platform that makes the transmission medium a first-class architectural element for distributed AI, giving architects direct control over the Propagation Tax every large-scale training system must pay.

Jason Eichenholz

Jason Eichenholz is the founder and CEO of Relativity Networks. A serial entrepreneur and laser physicist, he has spent more than three decades transforming breakthrough photonics research into commercial technologies.

Jason previously co-founded Luminar Technologies, helping bring lidar into the automotive industry. Throughout his career, he has focused on commercializing technologies capable of redefining entire industries.

At Relativity Networks, Jason is leading the commercialization of ChronoCore™, helping establish the networking architecture required for distributed AI infrastructure.

Outside of business, Jason is deeply committed to philanthropy through Jonathan’s Landing Foundation, which is creating housing, employment, and community opportunities for adults across the autism spectrum.

Rodrigo Amezcua Correa

Dr. Rodrigo Amezcua Correa is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Relativity Networks and one of the world’s leading researchers in hollow-core optical fiber.

As a professor at CREOL, the College of Optics and Photonics at the University of Central Florida, Rodrigo pioneered independent anti-resonant hollow-core fiber designs that now form the foundation of ChronoCore™.

His research spans more than two decades, over 150 scientific publications, and multiple government-funded programs advancing next-generation optical fiber and laser technologies.

Today, Rodrigo is focused on transforming that scientific leadership into carrier-grade networking infrastructure for the AI Geography Era.

Manufacturing runs through our strategic partnership with Prysmian, the world’s largest cable manufacturer. By leveraging Prysmian’s global production network and cable expertise, ChronoCore™ fiber and cable are produced at industrial scale and prepared for real world deployment. Field deployment is supported by our Trusted Installer Program, which qualifies partners to splice, test, and commission hollow core routes to carrier grade standards.

Together we are building the manufacturing and installation ecosystem required to deliver hollow core networking at the volume the AI Geography Era demands.
